Swadeshi Science Movement (SSM) has been organizing the Swadeshi Science Congress (SSC) since 1991 every year to motivate researchers and also to preserve our traditional wisdom in diversified fields. Swadeshi Science Congress is a platform to bring together scientists, technocrats, research scholars, professional students, enthusiastic science communicators and public to present, discuss and disseminate scientific knowledge. It is a congregation for exchanging views and ideas and for working towards the development of society through the intervention of Science, Engineering and Technology. The Congress encourages presentations preferably in Malayalam.
The 21st Swadeshi Science Congress is jointly organized by Swadeshi Science Movement and Cashew Laboratory and Technical Division of the the Cashew Export Promotion Council of India (CEPCI) Kollam from November 7 to 9, 2011, with the focal theme:"Green Technology for Safe Future".
Green Technology (GT) can be used as environmental healing technology that reduces ecological scarcities and environmental damages created by the products and technologies for people’s conveniences. It is believed that GT promises to augment farm profitability while reducing environmental degradation and conserving natural resources and therefore it has been chosen as the focal theme of the 21st Swadeshi Science Congress. The conference includes plenary talks, invited talks, contributed papers and poster presentation.

Paper Presentation
Those who wish to present papers should send the abstracts in Malayalam/English by e-mail using MS WORD. The abstract should contain the results of the work. A hard copy with duly filled in registration form should be sent separately. The font should be Times New Roman in 14 point for the title and 12 point for the text. The abstract should not exceed 250 words and must include title of the paper(in capital letters), name of the author(s)- presenting authors name should be underlined. Tthe complete text of the paper should not exceed six pages (1.5 spacing A4 size), including tables and figures.
Registration
The registration forms may be sent along with the registration fee by crossed DD or at par cheque in favor of “The Chairman ,Finance committee, 21st Swadeshi Science Congress” payable at Kollam to reach the Secretary General, 21st Swadeshi Science Congress on or before August 30 2011.

Requirements of accommodation may please be indicated in the registration form. The Congress will provide only dormitory accommodation. Single/double room accommodation shall be provided on payment. No TA/DA will be provided.
